Pres. Weah breaks grounds for construction of two major projects in Upper Nimba County

NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah has broken grounds for the construction of two major projects in Upper Nimba County.

The projects include the construction of a modern Sanniquellie Central Market and the GW Harley Hospital.

According to ELBC Reporter, the old Sanniquellie Central Market is being relocated from the train tracks for safety concerns.

The project is being implemented by the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).

At the same time the Liberian Leader was joined by County Authorities to break grounds for the construction of a modern hospital in Sanniquellie City.

Arcellor Mittal is undertaking the construction of the hospital, as part of its corporate social responsibility.
