MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Jurors of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Margibi County have rendered a not guilty verdict in favor of Oliver Dillon.
According to our Judicial Reporter, Judge Joe Barcon has set free Mr. Dillon following the jurors’ verdict.
Prior to the verdict, Mr. Dillon was indicted in 2019 by the Liberian Government for allegedly stabbing one Emmanuel Koffa to death in the Garnerville Supermarket Community, but an allegation he has since denied.
Meanwhile, Prosecution Lawyer, the Assistant County Attorney for Montserrado County, Kuku Acquoi, said:” Justice was served.”
Attorney Acquoi, however, said Government is not deterred by the ruling.
