Respect, patriotism, rule of law are crucial to heighten fight against corruption-Cllr. Sannoh

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Keynote Speaker at the National Anti-Corruption Conference former Justice Minister, Benedict Sannoh, is calling for respect, patriotism and the rule of law to enhance the Country’s fight against corruption.

Cllr. Sannoh underscored the lack of budgetary support to integrity institutions and prosecutorial power to the LACC, as major challenges.

He said since 2014, over fourteen integrity institutions, including LACC, the General Audit Commission (GAC) and the Internal Audit Agency (IAA) among others, were established.

The former Justice Minister wants Government muster political courage to strengthen its oversight in the corruption fight without fear or favor.
