Local journalists attend training on Election Reporting in Bomi County

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-More than thirty local journalists are participating in two-day training, on election reporting in Bomi County.

The local journalists are drawn from Grand Cape Mount, Grand Bassa, Montserrado, Gbapolu and Rivercess Counties.

According to ELBC Bomi County Correspondent, the training is organized by the National Elections Commission (NEC).

Our Correspondent said the training and also focuses on Voter Roll Update and Referendum, and is aimed at building the capacity of participants ahead of the ensuing December 8, 2020, Mid-Term Senatorial Election and Referendum respectively.

Currently, a nationwide Voter ROLL Update is taking place at all NEC sanctioned voting centers.
