Monrovia Liberia – President George Manneh Weah has dismissed the Director General of the National Public Health Institute Dr. Musoka Fallah with immediate effect.

The decision was based on findings and recommendations from the special Presidential Committee set up to probe irregularities at NPHIL.

The President has since instructed that the committee’s report be published.

An Executive Mansion release quotes President Weah as vowing to fully implement the recommendations contained in the Committee’s report.

The Liberian Leader thanked Dr. Linda Birch and the members of her committee for the professional and timely manner they carried out the investigation.

Meanwhile the Deputy Director General of NPHIL Dr. Patrick Kpanyen will continue act pending further actions.
