Rivercess County confirms first COVID-19 case

RIVERCESS COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Health Team in Rivercess County has confirmed the first coronavirus case in the County.

According to ELBC Rivercess County Correspondent, a pregnant woman from Sinoe County was taken to the hospital for miscarriage and later tested positive of the virus..

Our Correspondent said due to the complication of her illness, she was transported to her mother in Rivercess County, and arrival in Cestos City, the twenty-one year old lady died and her specimen was taken at the 14 Military Hospital in Margibi County for testing.

Our Correspondent disclosed that it was later confirmed that she was positive of the covid-19.

Rivercess County Health Officer Joseph Tonpoe said health workers are presently doing contact tracing in County.
