Payroll Verification Team drops more than 80 pensioners from payroll in Grand Gedeh County

GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Payroll Verification Team in Grand Gedeh County has dropped more than eighty pensioners from the Ministry of Education Payroll in the County.

According to ELBC Grand Gedeh County Correspondent, the employees were pensioned in January this year.

Our Correspondent quotes the County Education Officer as saying efforts are being exerted to give the pensioners their retirement packages.

But, our Correspondent also quotes the retired employees as saying; they were not informed about the process.

According to our Correspondent, the pensioned employees are claiming salary for the three months they worked for before they were retired.
