Facts, Dissemination, Best Practices Are Critical To Fight Coronavirus -WHO

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Facts, guided by science and best practices have been described as key in the response to the fight against the corona virus in Liberia.

WHO Liberia Country Director, Dr. Peter Clement, said when proper information and facts are not disseminated properly, its makes it difficult to respond to the fight against the virus.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the Special Presidential Committee on Corona virus, Dr. Clement urged Liberians to be cautious in preventing the spread of the virus.

The WHO Country Director said one of the ways the corona virus can be transmitted is through sneezing.

Meanwhile, Dr. Clement is commending the Liberian Government for its coordinated response to the outbreak and reminded Liberians about good hygiene practice.
