Liberia Rolls Out Mobilization Framework Against The Corona Virus

MORNOVIA, LIBERIA(Varflay Kamara Reports) – The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) it is rolling out a strong preparedness framework and mobilization against the outbreak of the Corona virus in China.

It followed the declaration of the virus as a Global Health Emergency by the World Health organization (WHO) on Thursday.

Speaking to ELBC Friday, January 31, 2020 the Acting Director General of NPHIL, Dr. Mosoka Fallah said in the coming days, mobilization and awareness will increase in the Country.

Dr. Fallah said a surveillance system is being built at all Government Hospitals across the Country to prevent the disease.

Under the current Global Health Emergency, Dr.Fallah said the fight against Coronavirus will gain the political will from central Government and necessary resources.

Meanwhile, the Acting Director General of the National Public Health Institute is urging the public not panic as is being be worked to ensure Liberia is safe from the virus.
