In Observance of World Customs Day: LRA Urges Customs Officers to be Dedicated

MONROVIA, LIBERIA, (Jonathan Grigsby Reports) – The Commissioner General of the Liberia Revenue Authority and the Director of the Executive Protection Service, Thomas Doe – Nah and Trokon Roberts are urging custom officers to be dedicated to duty.

Messrs. Doe – Nah and Roberts said when they are dedicated, the Liberian Government will generate the need revenue to pay civil servants and undertake meaningful developments.

The two government officials also want Custom officers coordinate their various activities to enable them achieve more.  

According to ELBC Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent, Mark Rogers, Messrs. Doe – Nah and Roberts made the assertions recently at Bo Water Side in observance of World Customs Day.

In another development, our Correspondent said a manhunt has been launched for a 70 – year – old woman, Mary Karngar who went missing since Sunday in Gola Konneh District.
