MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Kolubah Zayzay) – More than 2,000 young people are to benefit from job opportunities under the Government’s Youth Job Opportunity Program.

Finance Minister Samuel Tweah, Said: “The program will target young people who acquired skills training in technical education and vocational training”.

Minister Tweah spoke Monday, January 13, 2020 T THE Samuel Kenyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville during a Youth Jobs Opportunity Forum.

He described the program as top priority of government’s Pro-Poor Agenda to reduce unemployment in society.

In Youth and Sports Minister, Zoegar Wilson, said: “The essence of the forum is to find a solution in improving the conditions of youth”.

Minister Wilson said under the program, more than 2,000 commercial motorbike riders will also benefit from insurance scheme, including intervention for At-Risk-Youth, among others.
