Conducive Business Climate: Critical for Stability of Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Jarp Davis)-Commerce Minister, Wilson Tarpeh, says the stability of Liberia is critical to creating a conductive business climate.

Minister Tarpeh maintained that a noisy environment drives away investors and undermines private sector growth.

A Commerce Ministry release quotes Minister Tarpeh as saying every business environment requires stability, certainty and affordability to grow.

The Commerce Minister, however, warned against practices that have the propensity to undermine its growth and development.

Minister Tarpeh described the private sector as the engine of growth that must be supported by all Liberians to transform the Country.

The Commerce Minister spoke Monday, January 13,2020 on a local station on the progress in 2019 and plans for 2020 under his Administration.
