MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Ministry of Commerce ordering for all business transactions to be done in Liberian Dollars is policy by law   and came into effect since August 1, 2019.

Commerce Minister Wilson Tarpeh said: “The policy is by law and violators risk huge fines and revocation of their business licenses”. Mr. Tarpeh however, warned that no buyer should be compelled to purchase in United States Dollars.
