MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Special Economic Zones Authority (LSEZA) is promoting Liberia as a competitive investment destination, highlighting tax incentives, job creation opportunities, and the country’s potential for industrial growth.
The Authority made the case at the ongoing Seventh Edition of the Prosperity Africa Conference, being held at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.
The conference began on October 20 and ends on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
Presenting on behalf of the Authority, the Director for Regulations and Legal Affairs, Attorney Wilson, said” Liberia’s Special Economic Zones could help accelerate industrialization, attract foreign investment, boost exports, and create employment opportunities”.
Atty. Wilson also highlighted key incentives available to investors, including tax benefits, a youthful workforce, vast land resources, and business support services for companies seeking to establish or expand operations in Liberia.
Meanwhile, the Authority has established an exhibition booth at the conference to provide prospective investors with information on investment requirements, application procedures, and available incentives under the Special Economic Zones regime.
The conference, held under the theme “Bridge by Prosperity,” brings together investors, government officials, business leaders, and financial institutions to explore economic opportunities and strengthen business partnerships across Africa and beyond.
The event is organized by the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Liberia Chamber of Commerce.
LSEZA says it remains committed to promoting investment, expanding trade, and creating sustainable employment through the development of Special Economic Zones across Liberia.
