Armed Forces of Liberia High Command Takes Charge of Blessing’s Medical Treatment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The High Command of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) says the army will take charge of Blessing Kpala’s medical treatment.

Blessing is the young lady seen in a viral video being maltreated and beaten by AFL personnel over the weekend.

The AFL Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Davidson Forleh has since apologized to Blessing and her family, and ordered that she be taken to the 14th Military Hospital to undergo medical attention at the cost of the army.

The two soldiers were dishonorably discharged from the AFL on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, after 18 years of service.

They were accused of brutalizing the victim on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in the Thinker Village Community, following a scuffle between her and a neighbor.
