MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Public Works has intensified rehabilitation efforts on a troublesome section of the Toe Town to Zwedru road in Grand Gedeh County.

The aim is to make the section passable after a report emerged that several vehicles were stuck along the corridor in Duogee Town.

The Ministry said the affected stretch is very swampy and about 100 meters long, with no change of an alternative route.

It added that a team is actively on site working to stabilize the situation and enhance the free movement of motorists.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Works is advising operators of heavy-duty vehicles to reduce their load to at least 20 tons.
