MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Rotary Club of Monrovia has presented the renovated Barchue Community Primary School as part of efforts to improve learning conditions for students.

The renovation is expected to provide a better learning environment for students and teachers at the institution.

Speaking at the presentation on Friday, the President of the Rotary Club of Monrovia, Rotarian Robert Smallwood, said the project highlights the organization’s continuous support for education and contribution to community development in Liberia.

He said the presentation of the renovated school is also expected to encourage greater community involvement in improving educational facilities and supporting children’s learning.

Rotarian Smallwood, at the same time, thanked the school administration, community, and partners for support throughout the renovation exercise.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Barchue Community, Joseph Kerlie, welcomed the renovation of the school building by the Rotary Club of Monrovia.

Chairman Kerlie expressed appreciation to the Club for its support, describing the renovation as an important contribution toward improving education in the community.

At the same time, the School Principal, Tetoe Negbah, also praised the Rotary Club of Monrovia for undertaking such a huge project at their institution.

Negbah believes the new facility will improve the learning environment for the students, while assuring proper maintenance and continued service to students.

The renovation underscores the importance of partnerships between community leaders, schools, and the Rotary Club in strengthening education and promoting community development in Liberia.

At the same time, the Commissioner of the Township of Congo Town, Edward Lahai, is calling on Liberians to work with the government to ensure that every child has access to quality education.

Commissioner Lahai said educating young people should be a shared responsibility between the government, parents, communities, and other stakeholders.

The Congo Town Commissioner made the call during the presentation of the renovated Barchue Community Primary School in Congo Town by the Rotary Club of Monrovia.

He commended the Rotary Club of Monrovia for its support toward improving the school environment and providing students with a better place to learn.
