55-Year-Old-Man Seeks Assistance for Higher Education

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A fifty-five-year-old man, William Tokpah, is appealing to the government and humanitarian organizations for a scholarship to advance his education.

The Kingsville Public High School graduate and a resident of Careysburg wants to pursue studies in agriculture and contribute to food security.

Tokpah, who graduated from high school over the weekend, said he began his education in the 1980s but dropped out due to the civil war.

Our correspondent said despite the setback, Tokpah is hopeful of achieving his dream and contributing to the country’s Agriculture Sector.

Tokpah is also urging the public to stop making mockery of older people pursuing education, noting it is never too late to learn.
