“Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea Bound by Shared History…”-Pres. Boakai

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has described Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone as countries bound by shared history, cultural ties, and common economic interests.

President Boakai referred to the boundaries separating the three countries as “linking points”, citing their shared languages and cultural values.

The Liberian Leader disclosed this on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in Bo City, Sierra Leone, during a Special Thanksgiving and Honoring Service where he served as Guest of Honor.

The service marked the 5th Anniversary of the Omega Fire Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant in Bo City.

Meanwhile, Sierra Leone’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Alpha Ibrahim Sesay, represented President Julius Maada Bio at the service.
