Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission Secures Court Order for Two Former Officials of Nat’l Oil Company

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has secured a court order for the arrest of two former officials of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) over alleged economic and financial crimes.

According to an LACC release, Criminal Court “C” issued a Writ of Ne Exeat Republica on Wednesday, September 10, 2026, directing that the two officials, Rustolyn Suacoco Dennis and Richmond Jallah, be arrested if they attempt to leave Liberia and detained until bail is provided.

The release states that the defendants face charges, including economic sabotage, tampering with public records, criminal conspiracy, and violations of the Public Procurement and Concession Commission (PPCC) and Financial Management Laws.

The LACC said the court order shows the importance of judicial action against misuse of public funds and reaffirmed its commitment to fighting corruption.

The Commission stressed that the allegations remain unproven and both officials are entitled to due process under Liberian law.

The LACC is calling for public cooperation as the case moves forward at Criminal Court “C” as part of ongoing efforts to promote transparency and accountability.
