PAYNESVILLE CITY, LIBERIA-The Liberia Broadcasting System will, this Wednesday, September 9, open a Book of Condolence in honour of fallen staff member Charles Johnson.

 Charles Johnson was a dedicated journalist assigned to the Radio Department of LBS, where he headed many of the system’s outside broadcasting assignments.

In a statement, LBS Management said Wednesday’s ceremony is intended to honour Charles’ memory and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family for the painful loss sustained.

Meanwhile, in keeping with respect and dignity for the dead, staff are to show up modestly dressed in mournful colours befitting the occasion.
