The Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Music & Audio Production Engineer at the LBS New Complex.
The successful candidate will support the operations of LBS’s live recording and audio production studio and will be responsible for producing high-quality audio for music, live performances, programs, interviews, and other broadcast productions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct studio recording and live audio production.
- Perform audio mixing, editing, and mastering.
- Operate professional recording and audio production equipment.
- Set up and manage microphones, mixers, audio interfaces, monitors, and signal routing.
- Monitor audio levels and ensure high-quality sound during productions.
- Troubleshoot audio and studio equipment when necessary.
- Work closely with producers, presenters, musicians, and other production personnel.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Engineering, Music Production, Multimedia, Broadcasting, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in audio recording, music production, sound engineering, or studio operations.
- Proficiency in Pro Tools is a must.
- Strong knowledge of microphones, audio mixing, signal flow, EQ, compression, audio effects, and professional audio production.
- Experience with live recording, broadcasting, or professional studio production will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
