MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government and the World Bank are expected to launch Liberia’s Public Finance Review on Monday, September 7.
The Public Finance Review is a core World Bank diagnostic that assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of Liberia’s fiscal policy.
It provides analysis and policy recommendations to help the government strengthen revenue mobilization and improve public spending.
The event is expected to be attended by several government officials, private sector actors, and civil society representatives, among others.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Augustine Ngafuan, is expected to deliver special remarks at the launch of the Review.
