Criminal Court ‘A’ Sentences Defendant Ezekiel White to Life Imprisonment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court ‘A’ on Tuesday sentenced defendant Ezekiel White to life imprisonment.

A trial jury’s unanimous “guilty verdict” against defendant White led to Judge Onesimus Banwon’s final judgment of life imprisonment”.

Defendant Ezekiel, on March 20, 2026, stabbed 22-year-old Lewis Camue twice in his neck with a piece of broken glass on 21st Street in Sinkor, after he accused the victim of insulting his mother.

The injuries subsequently resulted in death.

The victim, who was slapped twice, according to the indictment, did not retaliate or fight back; instead, he stood and watched as he was stabbed by the defendant.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where he later died from his injuries.
