US Charge D’Affaires Stresses Importance of Liberia’s History Preservation

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Charge D’Affaires, Joseph Zadrozny, has stressed the importance of preserving Liberia’s history.

Zadrozny said:” Preserving the country’s history will show the world that Liberia has a rich cultural heritage”.

He noted that it is through the preservation of Liberia’s historical artifacts and documentation that the people can shape the future of their country.

Zadrozny spoke on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in Sinkor when he paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Center for National Documents and Records Agency, Nelson Bearngar.

He pledged the US Embassy’s continued support to the National Documents and Records Agency to enhance its operations.

Meanwhile, Nelson Bearngar has termed the visit significant, adding that it will further strengthen the collaboration between the Center and the US Embassy.

The Center for National Documents and Records boss disclosed that there are lots of reforms taking place at the Center, but stressed the need to digitize documents and records.
