Trial Juror in 18-million Dollar Case Dies at John F. Kennedy Medical Center

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-One of the six trial jurors in an eighteen-million US dollar damages case before the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Montserrado County has reportedly died at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center.

The Juror reportedly collapsed in the courtroom on Thursday, August 13, 2026, during proceedings and was rushed to an ambulance by court officers for medical attention.

A court officer later confirmed to ELBC that the juror was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The deceased was reportedly an employee of the General Services Agency.

His name was submitted by the GSA’S Human Resources Department to the Judiciary’s Office of Jury Management to serve as a juror for the August Term of Court, in accordance with the law.
