MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Commissioner for Decentralization at the National AIDS Commission, Alexander Zogbaye, has described domestic resource mobilization as the Commission’s greatest challenge in the fight against AIDS.
According to Commissioner Zogbaye, partners are not supporting the Commission as compared to previous years, something he says is posing a serious threat to the entity’s operations.
The NAC Commissioner for Decentralization also warned that if nothing is done about the situation, the country’s fight against AIDS will be reduced.
Commissioner Zogbaye was speaking Thursday, August 13, 2026, when he appeared as a guest on ELBC’s Super Morning Show.
He is, therefore, calling on the government and partners to collaborate with the Commission to ensure funds are raised to help Liberia in the fight against HIV and AIDs.
