Civil Service Agency, Finance Ministry Conduct Training…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Service Agency (CSA) and the Finance and Development Planning Ministry have conducted a one-day Human Resource Directors and Technical Personnel Officers Training for all Government Spending Entities.

The training, conducted on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Congo Town, is part of preparations for the Annual Manpower Planning and Budgeting Exercises for Fiscal Year 2027.

Held under the theme:” Planning Today for a Stronger Civil Service Tomorrow”, the training was organized to strengthen participants’ capacity in manpower planning, budgeting, fiscal discipline, and the effective management of human resources.

Delivering remarks on behalf of the CSA Director General, the Deputy CSA Director General for Administration and Finance, Atty. Dahnu Mianyen, emphasized the importance of strategic manpower planning in strengthening the effectiveness and sustainability of Liberia’s Civil Service.

Atty. Mianyen stressed the need for Government Spending Entities to work closely with the CSA to ensure staffing decisions are based on institutional needs, available resources, and the broader priorities of the government.

The CSA Deputy boss stressed the importance of having the right personnel available to support institutional mandates and improve public service delivery.
