Civil Service Agency Launches Monthly Electronic Newsletter…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-‎The Civil Service Agency (CSA) has launched a monthly electronic newsletter to provide regular updates on activities within Liberia’s public sector.

Speaking at the launch on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Monrovia, CSA Director General Josiah Joekai said:” The publication will highlight government policies, programs, and developments within the civil service”.

He disclosed that more than 200 people had subscribed before the official introduction and encouraged more citizens and public workers to follow the publication.

‎‎DG Joekai said:” The publication will be added to the Agency’s existing information channels, including its website, AI-powered virtual information assistant, Civil Servant Magazine, and annual reports”.

‎The CSA Director General said the initiative will support efforts to improve transparency and communication between the government and citizens.

‎‎Meanwhile, Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah is urging government ministries and agencies to establish their own information channels to improve public access to updates on their work.

‎Serving as Chief Launcher of the Civil Service Agency’s monthly electronic newsletter, Minister Piah praised the CSA for making communication part of its institutional reforms.

‎He said:” The Agency has become one of the government’s leading institutions in public communication, using available platforms to share its policies and achievements”.

‎Minister Piah described the newsletter as an effective tool for information sharing in the modern era, and encouraged other government entities to develop similar publications.

The information minister said:” Such initiatives will help strengthen communication between public institutions and citizens, while promoting greater awareness of government activities”.
