Gov. of Liberia to Commission Fleet of New Vehicles for Nat’l Transit Authority

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia is expected to commission a fleet of newly acquired vehicles for the National Transit Authority (NTA) on Friday.

Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah said,” The new fleet of eighty buses and five cargo trucks will significantly improve public transportation across the country”.

According to Minister Piah, the vehicles were purchased to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transport services, while reducing the commuting challenges faced by many Liberians.

He noted that before the current administration took office, the NTA had only five functional buses, describing the new investment as a major step toward restoring the Authority’s pre-war operational capacity.
