GRAND CAPE MOUNT COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Chief Zoe of Grand Cape Mount County, only identified as Dakpanan, has been arrested in connection with the death of a lady in the county.

According to our correspondent, the lady was arrested and turned over to the Poro Society headed by Chief Dakpanan after being accused of using a cell phone while in the Sandy Bush.

Our correspondent said,” The lady and others had gone to clean the Sandy Bush when she was accused of recording activities in the bush”.

According to our correspondent, members of the society said after searching her phone, they found no evidence of any recording.

Despite the lack of evidence, she was fined and still handed over to members of the Poro Society on the order of Chief Zoe Dakpanan.

Our correspondent said that following her release, the lady was rushed to a nearby clinic, where she was pronounced dead.
