Nat’l Port Authority Boss Regularizes Employment of over 400 Contractors

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Managing Director of the National Port Authority, Sekou Dukuly, has officially regularized employment for over four hundred former contractors at the NPA.

The NPA Workers’ Union, over the weekend, honored Dukuly for this transformational decision benefiting hundreds of long-serving contract workers across Liberia.

During the ceremony, the Board Chairman of the NPA, Dr. Luther Tarpeh, and fellow Board members also received praise for championing the historic workplace regularization initiative.

The Managing Director of the NPA, Sekou Dukuly, praised President Joseph Nyuma Boakai for prioritizing ordinary workers’ dignity within his administration’s national transformation agenda.

The MD urged the newly regularized staff to remain professional, consistent, and disciplined going forward. Meanwhile, Dock Workers Union President Terry Kpokowo pledged loyalty, productivity, and dedicated service on behalf of all grateful workers.
