MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Special Economic Zones Authority has signed an investment agreement with Consumer Hygiene Giant Softcare Liberia Limited.
The partnership aims to establish a modern factory to produce essential household products for regional West African markets.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Congo Town on Monday, LSEZ Executive Chairman Prince Wreh welcomed the investment.
Wreh, among other things, said the deal aligns with government goals for job creation and diversification.
For his part, Bai Guangxue of Softcare Liberia Limited lauded the government for fostering a transparent, stable, and business-friendly environment for foreign investors.
Guangxue added that Softcare remains committed to long-term investment, innovation, and local job creation.
The thirty-two million United States Dollar Investment is expected to create over one hundred fifty direct jobs and two hundred fifty indirect jobs.
