Nat’l Joint Security Investigative Taskforce Appeals for Support to Law Enforcement Officers

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Joint Security Investigative Taskforce has appealed to Liberians to support law enforcement officers in the ongoing fight against drug cartels.

Taskforce Chairman, Justice Minister Oswald Tweh, said” Public cooperation remains essential to efforts aimed at eliminating illicit drugs across the country”.

Addressing the Ministry of Information regular press briefing on Thursday, July 30, 2026, Cllr. Tweh urged citizens to provide credible information that will assist the Investigative Taskforce in its operations.

He noted that defeating the drug trade is a national responsibility and called on every Liberian to play a meaningful role in the process.

Cllr. Oswald Tweh also commended members of the Joint Security and their partners for their dedication to dismantling drug trafficking networks across Liberia.
