MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Justice has dismissed the City Solicitor who was recently banned by the Chief Justice for posing as a Counselor at Law at the Owens Grove Magisterial Court in Grand Bassa County.

Fake lawyer Emmanuel Hitler was dismissed on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, following a communication from Chief Justice Yamie Gbeisay to the Justice Ministry about his action.

In a letter dated July 29, 2026, Solicitor General Cllr. Augustine Fayiah mandated Hitler to turn over all official property, case files, and related materials in his possession.

His dismissal means he can no longer practice as a City Solicitor after his Letter Patent was revoked by the Solicitor General.

A Letter Patent is an official authority given to a person from the Ministry of Justice, especially non-lawyers, to practice law.

The Solicitor General has, meanwhile, instructed that the transfer of all materials be completed no later than Friday, July 31, 2026, warning that failure to comply would lead to legal action to ensure compliance.
