MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Port Authority (NPA) has introduced its Automation System for vehicles and individuals at the Freeport of Monrovia.
According to the Head of the Automation Streaming System Company, Belle Vue International Managing Director, Sekou Kormah, the system aims to reduce the risk of close contact between humans and heavy traffic at the entrances of the NPA.
However, Sekou Kormah stressed that it is mandatory for each person visiting the NPA Compound to have an ID or valid visitor card before entering, and every vehicle should have the correct license as well.
Meanwhile, NPA Deputy Managing Director for Administration, James Bernard, expressed delight over the new Automation Streaming System, stressing that it will be situated at the various gates for vehicles and individuals to be checked and detected before getting into the premises of the Free Port of Monrovia.
Bernard urged all vehicle owners and individuals coming to the National Port Authority to comply with the New Automation Streaming System to avoid being denied entrance at the facility.
