GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Education joined Cabinet women and other distinguished Liberian women leaders in Buchanan on Sunday to honor Pastor Paula White-Cain, Senior Advisor to the White House Faith Office, during the “Women of Valor” Meet and Greet.

Held as part of activities marking Liberia’s 179th Independence Day, the gathering celebrated the enduring partnership between Liberia and the United States while providing a platform for dialogue on faith diplomacy, women’s leadership, national service, and cooperation.

Addressing the gathering, Pastor White-Cain encouraged Liberian women to recognize the influence they possess in shaping the nation’s future.

She called on women to support national leadership through prayer, service, and constructive engagement while promoting peace, unity, and the well-being of all Liberians.

She further challenged women to use their faith, voices, and positions of influence to strengthen families, transform communities, advance national development, and inspire the next generation of women leaders.

Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Minister Dr. Jarso Jallah reaffirmed the important role women continue to play in national transformation.

Drawing inspiration from the biblical examples of Deborah, Huldah, and Queen Esther, she encouraged women to lead with courage, wisdom, integrity, and unwavering faith as they contribute to Liberia’s growth.

The gathering also strengthened collaboration among women serving in public leadership and reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing peace, supporting national development, and expanding opportunities for women and girls across Liberia.
