MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Special Economic Zones Authority has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing regional economic cooperation and attracting strategic investments in the sub-region.
A Liberian delegation is currently participating in the Liberia- Nigeria Trade and Investment Forum, taking place in Lagos, Nigeria.
According to a dispatch, the Forum is under the theme, “Building Bridges for Shared Prosperity through Trade, Investment and Regional Integration.’
It is being attended by government officials, investors, development partners, and private sector leaders from Liberia and Nigeria to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties.
The Liberian delegation stressed the project’s strategic role in transforming the country’s agriculture sector through value addition, Agro-processing, and increased export competitiveness.
Liberia’s representatives at the Forum are William Kawalawu, Project Manager, and Ebenezer Wilson, Director of Regulations and Legal Affairs at the Liberia Special Economic Zones Authority.
