Deputy Public Works Minister Calls on Parents across Liberia…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Public Works is calling on parents across the country to work closely with teachers to ensure that their children receive quality education.

Speaking at the Third Closing Program of the Karken Town Public School in Margibi County over the weekend, Deputy Minister Samuka Dunnoh emphasized that education is a shared responsibility that requires the active involvement of both parents and teachers.

Minister Dunnoh said:” While teachers play a vital role in shaping the minds of children in the classroom, parents must provide the guidance, encouragement, and support needed at home”.

He said greater collaboration between parents and educators will help improve students’ academic performance.

The Third Karken Town School Closing program brought together students, parents, teachers, guests, and community residents to celebrate the achievements of students during the academic year.
