President Joseph Boakai has joined other African Leaders at the ongoing High-Level Continental conference on Reparatory Justice in Accra, Ghana.
The Liberian Leader and his African counterparts are advancing Africa’s collective pursuit of historical justice, healing, and reparations for the enduring impacts of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
President Boakai is expected to deliver a keynote address at the two-day conference on reparatory justice, historical accountability, and inclusive development.
The President arrived in the Ghanaian capital on Wednesday and was received at the Kotoka International Airport by Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Samuel Ablakwa.
At the airport, Minister Ablakwa presented the Liberian Chief Executive with a Ghana national team jersey as a gesture of friendship and solidarity.
