European Union and German Government Commit 6.8million Euros to Upgrade the Roberts’ International Airport….

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The European Union and Germany have committed 6.8 million euros to upgrade Roberts International Airport.

Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah said the project will improve safety equipment and airport infrastructure.

He emphasized that the upgrades will strengthen trade, tourism, and international connectivity.

Meanwhile, the African Development Bank has provided 16.7 million dollars in budget support to Liberia.

Minister Piah said the funding will support governance reforms, fiscal sustainability, and economic growth.
