MONROVIA, LIBERIA- The Liberia Petroleum Refining Company has donated one hundred delivery beds and six anaesthetic machines to the Ministry of Health.
The vital medical equipment, which was made available as part of the entity’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, will be stacked at facilities across the country to improve maternal and neonatal health.
The Managing Director of the LPRC, Amos Tweh, highlighted that maternal and child health remain a challenge in Liberia, thus prompting the need for his entity’s intervention.
At an official handover, Managing Director Amos Tweh stated that the contribution is much more than mere equipment, describing the delivery beds and anaesthetic machines as “mercies in motion.
He reaffirmed LPRC’s continuous commitment to supporting the government’s developmental agenda across critical sectors, including health and education.
