Women NGOs Secretariat of Liberia, Partners, Begin Baseline Assessment…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Women NGOs Secretariat of Liberia (WONGOSOL), in partnership with Kvinna till Kvinna and other partners, has begun a baseline assessment under the PeaceGen Project.

The Project is supported by the European Union and the Embassy of Ireland in Liberia.

The three-year PeaceGen Project aims to strengthen the leadership and participation of women and young people in peace-building, reconciliation, and transitional justice across Liberia.

According to a release, WONGOSOL said the assessment activities are taking place in Bomi, Bong, Montserrado, Nimba, and Sinoe Counties.

The findings will help guide implementation, ensuring that the program is community-driven and supports inclusive and sustainable peace in Liberia.
