MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberian Twelve graders today joined their counterparts in the West African region to write this year’s Senior Secondary School Certificate Exams (WASSCE).
The West African Examination Council (WAEC) Liberia Office has disclosed that fifty-seven thousand three hundred ninety-one candidates are taking the exams this year in Liberia.
The Head of WAEC Liberia Office, Dale Gbotoe, said:” All arrangements, including logistical and personnel, have been mobilized to ensure a very successful administration of the national exams”.
Speaking in an ELBC interview on Monday, June 1, 2026, Gbotoe encouraged candidates to remain focused and adhere to all exam regulations.
He warned students to avoid any form of examination malpractice that could jeopardize their academic future.
The WAEC Liberia boss is, meanwhile, commanding the Liberia National Police for their service and collaboration over the years.
