Minister of State Officially Declares Roberts Int’l Airport Certification Process Launched

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Samuel Stevquoah, has officially declared the Roberts International Airport certification process launched on behalf of President Joseph Boakai.

He said,” President Boakai views Roberts International Airport and other airport infrastructure as among the most strategic and important assets for any modern nation, including Liberia”.

Minister Stevequoah, speaking at the ceremony at the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex on Friday, May 29, 2026, stressed that the certification initiative is part of a larger national vision, one that connects Monrovia to the counties just as effectively as it connects Liberia to the world.

He called on the management, board, and international partners to ensure that the certification process becomes a fundamental part of the airport authority’s overall master plan.

Minister Stevequoah assured all stakeholders that the Boakai administration remains fully committed to improving infrastructure, strengthening institutions, and creating an enabling environment for Liberia’s economic transformation.
