Health Ministry Hails Nurses’ Contributions to Society on Int’l Nurses Day

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Health has hailed the contributions of nurses, describing them as the backbone of Liberia’s Health Sector.

The tribute was conveyed during celebrations marking International Nurses Day.

This year’s observance was held under the theme:” Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses, Save Lives”.

International Nurses Day is commemorated annually on May 12 to celebrate the vital contributions of nurses to society and global health systems.

The Ministry of Health acknowledged the dedication, compassion, and professionalism demonstrated by nurses in delivering quality healthcare services across the country.
