Additional 285 Earth-Moving Equipment Arrive in Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Additional heavy trucks from the two hundred eighty-five pieces of earth-moving equipment have successfully arrived in the country.

The latest consignment was transported to the Camp Sandee Ware Military Barracks in Careysburg on Monday, May 11, 2026, for storage, pending nationwide deployment.

The trucks, which are branded by county, follow the arrival of the first batch of heavy-duty equipment in February this year, which included one hundred thirty-seven pieces of machinery.

Authorities say the arrival of the equipment forms part of the government’s broader infrastructure development agenda, aimed at improving road networks nationwide.

The Government of Liberia believes that the equipment will help accelerate ongoing road projects and improve access to several communities, especially in the hard-to-reach parts of the country.
