MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai and delegation have returned home following a week-long official visit to the United States.

While in the U.S, President Boakai and the delegation held strategic discussions with partners and stakeholders to advance key sectors of Liberia’s governance process.

During the visit, President Boakai also received the Annual Peace Leadership Award from Sacramento State University in recognition of his commitment to peace, reconciliation, democracy, and good governance.

The visit and subsequent partnerships forged between the Liberian Government and key stakeholders in the U.S demonstrate President Joseph Boakai’s commitment to improving the lives of all citizens.
