World Bank Group Executive Director for Liberia Pays Courtesy Visit to Edu. Minister Dr. Jallah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The World Bank Group Executive Director for Liberia, Zarau Wendeline Kibwe, has paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Chair of the Cabinet and Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Marley Jallah, reaffirming strong collaboration in support of Liberia’s development priorities.

During the meeting, Dr. Jallah expressed gratitude to the World Bank for sustained support to Liberia’s development, describing the partnership as long-standing and productive.

She stated that they were happy to receive the delegation and extend sincere appreciation for the continued support toward Liberia’s development.

Dr. Jallah added that collaboration with partners strengthens essential services, improves learning facilities, and supports economic growth opportunities benefiting communities nationwide.

She further acknowledged recent financial support developments, emphasizing that additional resources will strengthen education programs and enhance foundational learning outcomes nationwide.

In a related development, the World Bank Executive Director, Zarau Wendeline Kibwe, lauded the government for the warm reception extended since his arrival in Liberia.

He expressed sincere appreciation for the exceptional hospitality shown to him, noting that the visit strengthened cooperation and mutual working relationships.

Kibwe noted Liberia’s support for his role at the World Bank, describing the responsibility as significant and deserving of continued dedication.

He emphasized that strong collaboration between Liberia and development partners remains essential for advancing national priorities within the education sector.

Kibwe reaffirmed the body’s commitment to strengthening partnerships that promote sustainable growth, institutional development, and improved education outcomes nationwide.
