MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The newly inducted President of the United Methodist University Alumni Association has committed his leadership to working closely with the University to review and strengthen the curriculum.
According to Emmett Coker, such vision is critical to ensuring alignment with the demands of today’s job market.
Coker also vowed to promote forward-looking ideas that improve learning outcomes, enhance academic standards, and uphold the integrity and excellence that define the institution.
He spoke on Friday, April 24, 2026, at the induction and fundraising ceremony of the UMU Alumni Association’s new leadership held in Monrovia.
Others inducted are James Fallah, Vice President for Administration, Meekie Reeves, Vice President for Operations, Obediah Zonoe, Secretary General, Felecia Dorbor, Assistant Secretary General, and Emmanuel Vessellee, Financial Secretary.
The Coker-led leadership has also promised to launch a renewed vision aimed at strengthening alumni participation and advancing institutional development at the United Methodist University.
